how to make custom snorkel
how have u guys made ur custom snorkels sont have money to go out and spend $500 on a snorkel or sugest a cheaper one like from 100-150 range if possible. but if u made a custom snorkel for ur truck could u take some pics and tell me how u did it thanks

no joke...and could somebody with a snorkled CARB take a pic of that...i know somebody has one..but i cant remember who..it would really help both the '86 and my '80...the '86 dies everytime it even goes in water pretty much...(sarcasm..it dies when i run through a mudhole at about 10mph...it floods like a bitch then..)..

Sorry I dont have my pic of my 84 22r up yrt ... Its a holley carb I made my snorkle out of 3 1/2 PCV...it comes out my right side. It works good but I want to make it out of some staeless steel.

Go to the home center and buy the following: ABS pipe in 6ft length 3" diam, ABS pipe in 2" diam 4ft length, ABS pipe fittings-90 and 45 degrees-you need a few of these in both the 2 and 3" diameter. ABS 3" to 2" reducer, and finally a snorkel head from 4x4 connection.
Lay it all out and figure out how to tube it all properly and voila..
I highly regret mine as an eyesore now..

With doind a snorkel set-up, What are you doing with all your other electrical items under the hood? Such as--> Plugs, wires, car, rotor, and any other electrical items.

Why does my stupid truck stall when i go through water?!
can you guys help me out?! im fairly new at the offroadin scene so i need to know why my truck stalls when i drive through flooded streets..takes a while to restart and i think "its wires under the truck that got wet" can someone let me know wat is up please!!! the alternator maybe gets wet??i dunno...HELP!

here's what mine looks like i made it for probly around $50 if i had went out and bought every thing i needed but i already had everything but the precleaner and i got it from ebay for $26
