high output alternator for 1st gen 22re?
i saw a thread write up on a easy way to get a high output alternator for my 22re... i have one now but it appears to have some issues so i dont want to have a new one custom built unless i have to..... just wondering what other options are out there.?

Didn't I read a thread about the highlander alternators being swappable??? IIRC they come in 100amp and 130amp versions and swapped straight in. I could be way off though.

Also, from other threads I have read. The v6 toyota highlander (camry on crack) has a 135amp alternator that is a direct bolt in.
Call a salvadge yard, should be able to find one for sub $100.

It has been said, but it is a direct bolt-in for a 3rd gen 4Runner.
