I think I will do this myself, imagine changing a front axle without having to take off the wheel!

I did it to my Toy and it definitely helps when it comes time to replace CV boots. It makes intalling the diff a lot easier too. I chose to grind the splines off the stock bolts after pressing 'em off though. The local nut/bolt place wanted over $50 for metric bolts. I thought that $ was better spent elsewhere.

Did it to mine also a while back. It does make swapping CV joints much easier. I still have to put a jack under the lower A-arm to get the angle straighter but other than that you are right - no tire removal and a lot less hassles.

I've replaced CV Boots a couple of times. And because of the lift, all I have had to do is remove the hub assembly. Because the weight of the truck keeps the front end somewhat level. I do to remove the lower part of the shock to make it a little easier. And the pressed in bots are still in!
