Downey Pre-Runner AAL?

I recently stumbled across the Pre-Runner AAL sold by Downey and had a couple of questions about it. Does it work with stock springs or just the Downey ones? Does it actually make a big difference? I've been lurking here for a little while and couldn't get a good answer from searching. If I missed something in my search, point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

yes they work with stock springs you just remove the overload leaf and put this in its place. and yes, they made a big difference on the way my truck handled and rode. you just missed the ones i had for sale in the classifieds.

Ok cool, thank you. Would I be right in assuming these work with any leaf pack then? I plan to eventually get the OME system and don't want to buy stuff now that won't work with it.

yes...it will work with pretty much any pack....

NOTE: just make sure that Downey sends you the correct size. There are more than one length. If it is NOT the correct length (to provide the correct stagger) the AAL WILL bend your springs beyond repair. Seen it happen many times
