I'm about to put 265/75/16 on my stock 2001 4x4 tacoma and i know they are going to rub a little in the front and i was thinking about getting a 1.25" daystar lift in the front. Do yall think it will prevent it from rubbing. Also, I found a website (http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/9504tacodstrlift.htm) it says that the top spacer alone will not affect the ride, but the bottom spacer does.

I am running 265s

On my 04 and there is no rub. I am lucky to have the V6 TRD coils in the front for about an inch of lift but if you use the stock rim you will be fine. Astheticaly, the leveling out looks great!

Rims

Check wheelers offroad for the black steelies and make sure you get the 16 inch ones because the "guaranteed" fit on 16s from his 15s isn't really true. My bro couldn't get the 15s to fit his '00 TRD that came with 15s!

i have a daystar 2.5 coil spacer lift on my 00 runner, the ride is nice, too nice for me, i like it to be more stiff, but i've had them for over a year, and they are still handling very well.
