a/c to onboard air help

i've heard of a couple of guys doing this, converting their stock a/c to an onboard air system. i tried to find out hw this is done by doing a search for it but i didn't find anything. Does anyone know how this is done or where there is a website that has some information on it?

I did it on my truck and did a quick write up. If you go to http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/index.php and look at Files / Technical Modifications you'll find it.
