budbuilt skids and bolt heads

Jackson - My Site 96 SR5 4x4 - 33" MTs, open diffs, and 3.90s - LET'S ROCK! My runner has bee traded in *sniff* on an 06 SR5 long bed d-cab Tacoma. The tacoma is nice, but... *sniff* ... I'll update my site when I'm done grieving. |

I don't have one, so I could be wrong, but I thought all the holes were countersunk w/ allen head bolts so that they it flush...I know his crossmember is made like that.

from the pics I've seen, that appears to be the case. But if not, that's a problem for me and would likely cause me to go with someone local for custom made skids. I just want to be sure...

The allen bolts on the skid are recessed. The belly pan ones are not. But the heads on them are smooth so I would not loose much sleep over them.

Bud bent the trailing edge of my belly pan way up. I figure he does this for tacomas and he forgot it was for a 4runner. He appologised and offered to pay for it to be shipped back but since I had already painted it I just took a cut off wheel to the bent up edge.
