anyone know weight of w8000 w/synthetic rope?

anyone know the weight of w WARN 8000 with synthetic rope? if you do please share . estimates are good too

I would say about 10 to 15 lbs less than an M8000 with the wire (just a guess though)

nc99 did you notice the winch in the front end when you first put it on

They probably use 5/16" Amsteel Blue. A 100' weighs 2.7 lbs.

So here are the preliminary numbers:

M8000 without controller or rope: 33lbs.
Controller and cables: 6lbs.
synthetic rope: 2.2 lbs.
Fairlead: .65 lbs.
Hook: .9 lbs.

TOTAL WINCH WEIGHT: 42.75 lbs.

What was removed:

Roller Fairlead: 12 lbs.
Wire Rope: 18 lbs. (5/16 x 100')
Gross: 30 lbs
Net Weight Savings: 27 lbs.
