ammo can console

here is a console i threw together a couple months ago. its an ammo can with a cam lock and the factory console cushion.

very nice...is there anything on the inside? like padding, i would think that the stuff in it would make lots off innoying noise

no padding and actually, i havent really noticed any noise from stuff inside.

Ah nice to see a picture
I've been thinking about doing this for quite a while now. Didn't think about adding some padding at the top though. Excellent idea! Just a matter of finding the right size ammo can for my 1st gen now

i cant remember what this can is for specifically, it the same as a .50 cal ammo can, but taller. when it was finished, it came out to be the same height as the factory console, so the armrest was perfectly placed.
