87 axle on a 85?

I recently bought a 85 4runner. I have a rear axel of a 87 4runner laying around.
Would I need to do any fabrication to the axle to put it on the 85?

no it will bolt on fine but will be longer than your front axle.

Its about 1.5" wider on each side, so 3" wider total. To my knowledge at least.
