No, as long as you still have good seals it won't get in unless you decide to do an imitation of a submarine. Sand and grease/gear oil tend to make a lovely mix on the underbody though if you've got any good leaks.

Thanks, I don't believe that I have any leaks. I'll just hose it off really good once I leave the beach!!!

I know about the tires, I even plan to bring a portable compressor to pump them back up. Don't worry, only Fireworks at P-Town for me!!

If I remember correctly, the ranger station has air there for that purpose.
Also, get there EARLY for the week pass. Apparently they go fast. Todd
