4x4's in the Sand

I plan to take my T100 4x4 up to Cape Cod this weekend and they allow you to drive on the beach. My question is will the sand get into the work and mess everything up, or do I not have to worry about sand getting into the drivetrain parts. Just figured I'd ask before I went and did it. Thanks.

No, as long as you still have good seals it won't get in unless you decide to do an imitation of a submarine. Sand and grease/gear oil tend to make a lovely mix on the underbody though if you've got any good leaks.

Thanks, I don't believe that I have any leaks. I'll just hose it off really good once I leave the beach!!!

Don't forget to air down your tires! Have fun and don't spend too much time in P-town.

I know about the tires, I even plan to bring a portable compressor to pump them back up. Don't worry, only Fireworks at P-Town for me!!

If I remember correctly, the ranger station has air there for that purpose.
Also, get there EARLY for the week pass. Apparently they go fast.
