I was at my local 4x4 store today and was talking to the guy about some tires. They just got a set of 4 32x11.50 BFG Mud Terrains. He said 175 for the pair, they look good, maybe 70% on the worst and 80% on the best. I had these same tires on my last toy truck and not even a 1 1/2'' deep mud pit could stop it. I like BFG tires, is this a good deal do you think? When I got my el-cheapo ones I currently have, they have less tread, are smaller (32x11.50 but not really) and cost about the same? The thing is these '32x11.50's I have now rub a little under very hard angles, and though Ive never measured them my stock 31x10.50s werent very much smaller at all, maybe 1/2'' shorter and 3/4'' narrower, Should I be worried about much touching or screw it and buy them?

I have a 93 4Runner currently shod with 32x11.5 BFG All-Terrains, if that helps. My shocks (front and back) have probably never been changed, and neither have the saggy springs. In other words, perfect conditions for rubbing.

That being said, I got the BFGs with about 10 miles on them, so they were practically new. I had a little bit of rubbing that diminished over time, and yeah only in tight parking lots where I'd need to steer lock-to-lock. The only rubbing I currently have is when my wheels are pointing to the right and I'm in reverse. No freeway problems, no 35-zone problems, and no problems when I'm aired down.

I say buy 'em.

A whole 1 and a half inches! Impressive!

Just messin with you man. Sounds like a good deal to me. If my truck had a little more power I would go to those, especially for that price.
