Serpentine belt idler pulley?
My 2002 Tundra 4x4 with 4.7 L has 36k miles and has always squeeked when cold/damp.
Now it won't stop. So, buying a Gatorback belt today. If that doesn't fix it, can I replace just the bearing in the idler pulley? Parts people are selling a complete pulley for $61.
What is the procedure for repairing or replacing? (I know, need to get out more and drive!) Thanks, Toyroja highdet@tularosa.net

if that pulley is indeed the culprit, i think you are better off replacing the entire thing. Removal of the fan should be enough to get that pulley out but the upper radiator hose might be in the way too. Also if i'm not mistaken I think that pulley is attached to the block with a reverse threaded bolt.
