In my 4Runner the clock gets it's memory power from the dome fuse. Sounds like the Sequoia is the same. Could be you have a wiring short in the dome light circuit somewhere.

that's what i was thinking. The only places left where the short can be is in the vanity mirrors, the wiring through out the vehicle, and the clock itself. I have already gone through and checked all of the dome lights, they all function properly, and if the short was located at one of these points, the fuse should blow when they are activiated. Doesn't happen untill the vehicle is completely turned off and turned on again.
