Buying my first tundra?

I've driven chevy all my life. My work truck, personal, toys, everything. I found a smoking deal on a 2013 Double cab. Any major problems you guys have had? Worth the switch from Chevy to Yota? Why or why not? I just don't wanna spend 29k and hate the pickup

Just because you posted twice, I'll answer twice.. I've spoken to a few owners personally that own the newer double cabs, and I've yet to meet one that didn't love their truck! Granted, with new technology and the fact America has definitely stepped up their QC recently, you wouldn't go wrong with a Chevy, Ford, or Dodge, either. Toyota has proven their reliability.. Yeah, they had their Camry scare 6 years ago..but have stayed clean as of late. More that can be said of the recent recalls from Ford and GM!

I've owned full sized Ford's, Chevy's as well as several 4Runners. When Toyota came out with the big Tundra in 2007, I wet my pants because I knew I would be able to drive Toyota again while being able to comfortably fit 6 people in it. I now have a 2010 Tundra CM and it's seriously a kick ass truck. You won't be disappointed!

1979 Ford F150 4X4 (lemon) problems from day 3 till I traded it at 51K mi.

Next, 1987 Chevy Suburban 2-Wheel Drive. Faulty brake system.too risky to drive after 105K mi..sold .

next- 1989 Chevy Van trailered 3600 Lb loaded Sports fishing boat into Baja for 4 years 50 - 400-mile round-trips. In-laws bought it. They fished in Baja with us and knew it was good and racked the mileage up to 400K

Next was a 2001 Sequoia SUV 2-wheel drive. Hauled boat to Baja till 2002.
We still own it 14 years later and now has 270K mi.
