Why would you want to disconnect them? If it was up to me everyone would have to run with them on 24 hours a day. They are a great safety feature but for some reason some people don't like to have there lights on. I sure can't figure out how it's hurts anything on my vehicals and it does help people see me in low light areas. Mike

I'm a bit rusty on this mod, since I did it 3 years ago and no longer have the truck. However, I believe there is a connection on the driver-side fender in the engine compartment that allows you to disconnect the DRLs. If I remember correctly, the connection from the headlights splits into two wires just behind the driverside light. One wire heads to a ring terminal connected to the inside of the fender just behind the battery. There should be a disconnect on this wire. You should simply be able to disconnect that wire and disable the DRLs.
HOWEVER, before using my instructions, I suggest you head over to Tundra Solutions and search for the mod. I know I got the instructions from that site back when I had the truck.

I too love my DRLs on my Tundra and I keep them on.
The plug is as Lefty stated on the left side near the shock/strut area (although located on the side fender wall) and is grey.

There are many reasons to disable DRLs, my biggest gripe in the inability to signal trucks on the highway that they can some over in-front of me. To signal moron drivers to turn on their head lights when they are too stupid to figure it out on their own. To use fog lights in a extreamly foggy situation, you want to put the smallest amount of light on the fog as possible.
