What Happened to my Labor Day Weekend (FJ40/55 content)

About a year ago, the oil pump on the 73 FJ40 (green one) started to go out and I spun a rod bearing. Gave it to my dad for some money I owed him at the time as he's the one that sold it to me originally. Well we found a rusted out FJ55 from Colorado that ran great and had only 40k on it for dirt cheap. Went down and picked it up and ripped the motor and trans and transfer case out and stuffed it in the 40. Here's some of the pics of it.

The 1st Gen is mine, the red 69 FJ40 is my brother's, the maroon 4Runner is my mom's.

BTW, if anyone wants a pre-smog Land Cruiser frame WITH title and a FJ55 shell on it, make an offer.

Very nice Toy collection.

Very nice of the iron pig to give up its heart to let another Toyota live awhile longer.

Thanks. Yeah it's such a shame the body is so rusted. But I should mention that the frame is near perfect. Kinda funny, but so much steel in that thing, I'm not too surprised.

That is my buddy's 16v Scirocco and my brother's MK4 GTI. He also has a show quality red Corrado G60. I sold my 2 VWs to get married and put into my Toy. Had an 86 GTI and a 97 VR6.
