A 94 is an excellent year, stronger tranny, good motor, especially if it has diff locks. Great wheeler and a good mall attack vehicle too!

i have never heard of the newer ones like the 94, i was only aware of the older ones and when i seen this, first thing i thought was "its a mall cruiser" like a luxury vehicle then the more i started lookin into it i started to realize that this could be a nice off road vehicle but i'm still not sure... do they have sa's in the front factory? did they ever come with manual trans? if not can it be swapped? and i've never heard of the 4.5 i6... is it a good motor?

Non of the US FJ80's came in a manual, but you can get one from Spector Off Road (quite expensive). I also think that some diesel 80's came in a manual, but they are quite hard to find unless you are on the US/Canadian border. Overall the 80 is a great full size off-road truck.
