Buying an FJ60 in Central America?

Hi folks,

My first post here. I was just wondering about the feasibility of buying an FJ60 in Central America (I'm based in El Salvador at the moment) and driving it back to the US. Landcruisers are all over the place down here and, at least cosmetically, look to be well kept. Has anyone ever done this? What are the import costs/regulations from bring a vehicle across the US/Mex border. Any info is appreciated.
