1988 Land Cruiser

My buddie and I are about to go pick up a 88' Crusier. What type of things should I expect to find/ look for in this type of a used vehical. Any major mafunctions or problems? Any recalls? Also I was wondering the engine models that were availble, as well as the solid front axle (not sure if it has the solid axle. Thank you ahead of time for your guys help.

It has the 3fe engine with a solid axle. Auto 4speed, power windows. Generally a bulletproof truck, but prone to rust, especially on the rear wheel wells.

No problem, I'll tow the pig with a Uhaul Trailer...

Solid axle truck, built like a tank. It will have the 3Fe FI as said above, auto tranny. No major problems other than rust issues.
Very capable with a mild lift. you can fit 33x10.5's stock on the stock rims without rubbing.
