My next RC?

So I am very happy with my Axial Wraith, but I want to explore other types of RCs too.
This one from RC Planet has caught my eye, as they say it is one of the fastest out there.

HPI Savage XS Flux Waterproof 2.4GHz 4WD RTR HPI106571

What is nice is that I can use the same Lipo batteries my Wraith uses in this also.
This thing is made for off road too, and watch how it can do a somersault from standing still, too cool

Here is something else I would like to try, as I have not flown a plane since the early 70s, and that was a P51 Mustang with a Cox .049 engine, but the plane was on a tether, not flown with a remote.

Champ RTF
They carry these at the local hobby store by me.

This is a deal at $89 ready to fly out of the box.

Here it is in flight.

This is the exact reason I try to avoid this stuff.

I can't just have one...

Exactly!
I will never have the collection though that is in this thread.

I think I might go for that plane before another ground rig.
Only problem is I have to go to a park to fly it, but I have one within about five minutes of me that would be perfect.
Same park I want to take the Wraith to, as there is a nice trail and rocks by a raging river to run it by.

When are you buying your Wraith???

I couldn't get a plane... I'd crash it immediately, lol

I might have more luck with a helicopter; I can keep it in my sights

I had a nice beginners helicopter, I crashed it way to much.

This plane is light weight and made with foam I believe, very hard to hurt it if you crash.

Amazon has these too, and extra Lipo batteries.

YouTube also has a lot of Champ videos if you plug in Hobby Zone Champ.

Looks very easy to fly.

He has pretty good videos, have watched quite a few.
To windy here now to be getting into an airplane, but I will pick one up later, then try it when weather gets better.

RC Planet has the Wraith on sale.
Do not let the full price fool you though, I got mine locally for $350 I think.
RC has it marked down to $335.

guy was playing around with a Wraith in the hobby shop this weekend when I went to pick up some batteries and some drive shafts. he ran it off the end of the counter at full speed, then proceeded to run it up and down the isles, lol
