IFS to SAS conversion on old Kyosho

This is the parts from an old "Nitro Beatle" that I got like 15yrs ago. Shortly after wrecking out and snapping plastic suspension parts, I thought it would be cool to build a solid axle truck with a more "scale" look. I built a jig to align the tubes and busted out the epoxy putty. been in a box bout 8 yrs now

pretty neat idea!
i used to have 2 kyosho 4x4 trucks, the dodge ram and the monster beetle.
bout had a .15 nitro engine with the new qrc clutch.
it was the first nitro rc vehicle to feature foward/reverse and nuetral.
a few years ago i through out the trucks, but kept the tranny.
they were slow....powerfull vehicles.
