i hear you have to run full hydro with this system. i drive to the trails around here. i want to run my highsteer and box. will the drag link interfere with the panhard bar? i know i wont get all that articulation that the full guys are getting.

Well, its only been tested with a full hydro setup. It really depends on how and where you mount the panhard bracket on the frame side but it should work just fine assuming you mount the panhard last. I have looked at this kit, and see no reason it won't work.

i am willing to tweak. but i don't think that a "kit" should require much!!! i would like to see a truck running a box. before i spend any cash!!!! how far forward can i move my axle with this system. i know that my box will limit this somewhat. do you think this system will be streetable enough for a DD truck.

the reason is.
this weekend i cracked the front of my 85 runner frame, right behind the front support.

i hate my procomp springs and i kinda want to cut the front end off and start over.
Hangers and leafs sound fine but. im ready for something new.. i'll upload some carnage eventually!!!!!

That depends on how far forward you want to move the steering box. Usually anymore than 1.5-2" will result in the tie-rod and draglink contacting. However, if you move the box further forward, then you can move the axle farther forward.

Think of this kit more as a universal link kit that has a bracket for the panhard to fit the stock axle. Any time you deal with a link setup its going to require dialing in. When dealing with a 3 link like this there are literally tons of variables that go into how its going to handle. Lift height, tire size, etc all effect the handling.

However, at this point, this is the only kit designed for the Toyota itself.
