redneck4life, who did you have make your spindles? I've been curious about finding some for my 85.

@wentz912 i had them custom fabricated by a fabricator here in socal if you want I could get you his info.

Do you have plans to lock the rear? I have a 2wd as well I'm building to be a mid travel rig. I was looking at a spartan locker for the stock diff. What are your plans after this?

I ended up going with the Detroit truetrac and it ˟˟˟˟ing rocks. It being 2wd I didn't need the rock climbing ability of a full locker which would lose traction on the street. Also, I didn't want an auto locker that would be great off road but a compromise on road. The truetrac is gear driven so it does on road perfectly well and does what I need it to do off road.

What kind of setup are you running up front? I love the ride height. Total chaos? Or custom fab? If it's custom could I snag the info and how much I'd expect for 2" extended control arms?

I might have to go that route as well.
