Dang. Love the M1/M14 family. Was graced with an M14 for about 8 months. Power, accuracy, and sex appeal in one rifle. Until they stuck some abortion of a collapsible/ rail stock on it and trashed the feel of it. Gave it back then. Need to look into some CMP action.

Man, I've always wanted a garand or a Springfield '03. they're so beautiful! As is the m14, never gotten around to getting one of the classics yet.

Here's the utility rifle. 6.5x55 Swede. This was the first center fire I bought. Was a little under the legal age at the time, but my dad matched my funds, and we went and got it together. For a military rifle, made in 1903(!) it'll still put 3 in a quarter at 100yds if you take your time. Haven't not dropped anything on the first hit with it.

Put a Vortex red dot on my Rifle. Wrong mount than I was expecting to get. It's a lower 1/3 cowitness and I want an absolute cowitness. Has a screw on 2x magnifier too.

This rifle is basically "done." I may put on a different stock (another Magpul ACS) later, but I want to finish the AR47 pistol first.

Went out today with Kevin to sight in my new vortex strikefire and then shoot some skeet.
Kevin also needed to re-sight in his scope from 40yds (lol wut?) to 100.
Perfect weather here in Texas for a day out shooting.

How do the uberti's handle and shoot? I've always thought about getting one. But always wondered about the quality of a "replica". Do they handle modern loads?

It actually shoots really well for a replica. I've only shot a handful of hotter loads through it but without any issues. I mainly stick to the cowboy loads. Only problems I had with it were when I first for it after 50 rounds or so I had to tighten all the screws but since then no issues. I'd say they're one of the more reputable replicas.

Yeah. You made me go look. I'm a sucker for birds head grips on a six gun. Not exactly cheap, so maybe not a "replica" like I was thinking. Might be a purchase down the road.

Yea they're not cheap that's for sure. It's a high quality firearm. I'm a big fan of single action or cowboy era guns. I was so excited when my dad gave me that. I recommend you get yourself one.

Finally added a 1022 to the collection.
I've been wanting one for a while but never had the money, until today.
I went to the range with a buddy of mine and during a cease fire he had mentioned him wanting to get rid of his .22. After some talking we decided to go back to his place once we were done at the range.
I picked up this 1022 Carbine (with around 1000 rounds through it), 200 rounds of ammo, 4- 25 round magazines (2 factory, 2 butler creek) plus 1- 10 round mag, and a generic case all for $160.
