any plans for 2nd gen glass for 4runner. if so you can count on me buying some. i would like something different than all the other trucks around here and really like the molded in flare look

yep ..
we have the 4runner in the compound already .. well actually we just sent it over to a local tow companys shop , for a kids charity . crime stoppers is building a toyota and wanted some front end parts , so I donated the front end + some other pieces to the kids ...
soon as I get the runner back , we are going to start with stock 1/4r replacements .. then we're going to be building some hi-clearance 1/4rs to match our fronts .. keep an eye out for those !!

So how much clearance do you actually gain with the hi-clearance fenders? For instance, how big a tire could you put on the stock suspension and not have it rub (even flexed)?

best to push the front ahead 1.5" and 39.5's will fit in the hole with no lift , but suspension travel (depending on what) there would be some interferance .. so then some lift would be necessary ..

with firewall modifications on the original tub , you can run 36" tires with NO lift easily ... with a flexy suspension .

Absolutely sick work, no question about it. You have seriously peaked my interest on the idea of fiberglass fenders... I have been planning (long haul) on just cutting the crap out of mine and welding in my own patch style flare fenders just to keep it solid looking without the gaudy glued on plastic flare effect so I can stick some overweight rubber on my 94 runner.
Again nice work and I will make sure to keep my eyes out for future builds from you in the future. Impressive stuff man.

As usual shipping costs will put this out of my budget.
Would love to fibreglass my rust ridden 1st gen .
tailgate falling apart 1/4's welded up , front fenders looking like spider webs
