picked up my c.b. today spent some getting it installed
just a cheap one from walmart but it should work fine for this thing.
put together this bracket to mount the antena, I used a 3 foot fire stick I had laying around.
not realy happy with where its mounted but I could figure a better spot, I know a lot of guys nount them in the ashtray spot which is a good place but I havent kicked the habbit yet so I still need the ashtray.
didnt good et it all hooked up becouse I didnt have any coax "could have sworn I did but could find it" I will have to pick some up when I get on the road, finish it up the next time Im home.
I stop by a local fab shop yesterday a talked to them about building my skid plate, I really want to just by a bud built but we shall see.
thats it for now thanks for checking in.

Looks good, I think you'll be happy with those Procomps, my bro ran those for years. Nice to see you use it to its full potential, proof that is doesnt have to be super modified to do well offroad. What antenna mount are you using for your CB? never seen that kind before.

Hey stockwell, glad to hear some good feed back on the tires don't know much about them yet, 4wheel parts had them buy 3 get 1 free so that's a good start. I'm trying to do a mild build with this one just keeping it simple and so far its doing great. The antenna mount I made out of a couple pieces of strap I had laying around I think it will work ok I need to trim the edge down becouse the hatch is hitting it but I ran out of time today.

I can't believe as a truck driver that I didn't have a spare laying around LOL, I like the small size of this one and I'm sure it will work fine.

Its looking like I'm not gonna make the trip on the 19 I just can't seem to get things to come together. Hoping maybe Thanksgiving weekend to at least make it out to one of the local Parks.
