Great bumper, simple and its get the job done. I did my bed this last fall with the Dupli color. I like it. Wife got me the kit for Christmas for like $90. Did 2 coat on my bed and 2 on my rocker panels, still got about 1/4 of it left. might do another coat on the bed.

Is it made to be sprayed over the rubberized floor cover?

I suppose I can applaud your ingenuity.
I recommend bracing that upper shock mount. If looks like you just screwed it on with sheet metal screws. That will fail the first time you over extend them.

As for load carrying capacity, the smaller short springs from the packs help more with load carrying cap. Add some back in. With custom packs you have to play around with them. They're not chevy's, that's for sure.

NO NO NO NO

This is incorrect and HIGHLY unsafe. The shocks will rip that mount off. The metal of the bed is just sheet metal, and will fatigue and tear quickly. I have personally seen this happen. Same thing goes for those shackles, since you only have one side supported the other side can and will flex, which will lead to fatigue and eventual failure.

You also need to get proper U-bolt flip plates. Yours have no curve on the edge, meaning they will bend when force is applied. This will cause them to loosen up.
