Yikes! VSC Off light, VSC Trac light and Check Engine light all at once.

Driving along at 55 miles per hour and all of a sudden, the VSC OFF light, the VSC TRAC light and the CHECK ENGINE light all come on at the same instance. Truck seems to be running fine. Any ideas on what I have going on before I dive into this myself to try and diagnose??? 2001 4 Runner, 4x4 w/ lockable center diff. THANKS

dive into an OBD II scanner and pull the code

VSC and TRAC almost always auto-disable when something else causes MIL to light.

Check your gas cap - toyota failed to put a warning anywhere that a loose gas cap will light up the dash like a xmas tree. It cost me $100 to find that out.

Thanks for the feedback. I had a scan done and it came back with a P1135 Code - Manufacturter Fuel Air Metering. I will check gas cap. Can anyone translate that code into plain engish for me?? Thanks

"Air/Fuel Ratio meter heater circuit malfunction, Bank1 Sensor1".

Basically your front (pre-cat) Air/Fuel ratio meter has started acting up. They are costly ($200 to $300). Mine did this for a couple of months and I just drove around with my OBD tool plugged in all the time to keep resetting the code. Finally replaced the sensor and all is good.
