Yeah, gotta have a prob with Toyota for the wimpier north american front end. Though I find it a telling sign that Jeep is marketing to what they feel is a "target audience". Imprint that jeep in a young mind and they'll buy it when they get old enough. Which would then bring up the obvious, all offroaders would consider their vehicle a "toy" at least to some degree. Ours actually parallelling that abreviation...

Jeeps are just commonly used with toy companies and do represent "off road" to the general public and have for almost 70 years,it's just ingrained in the American culture.

I highly doubt some little kids are gonna grow up and decide to buy a Jeep cause they owned a 2004 Jeep Powerwheel maybe after all those years they might start looking for a classic Powerwheel to restore

I dunno...I still turn my head for nice CJ's and old Jeep Wagons. I have a vague memory of riding in one in the Gila back in the mid-sixties. I've still got a Jeep Wagon located at a farm around here and everytime I see one built and painted up, I go back to look at it.
