WTB - 01-02 master cylinder / ABS pump

I am looking for the entire master cylinder / ABS pump assembly from a low-mileage 2001-2002 4Runner. This is the complete unit as shown in the example below:

Just a small bump to ask if members can please keep their eyes open for a low-mileage wrecked '01-'02 4Runner.

This part, 47050-35010, carries a $2,500 list price.

There's a guy over at T4R.org who knows a yard that's parting out a 2001 2WD. It's in the classified section and look for 01thunder.

EDIT: actually, there's 2. the second one is biggjerry

Hi just wondering if you had the same problem im having with my 2002 4runner, was driving to work and a high pitch alarm/noise started, parked the truck for the day and when i was done work and started truck the noise was still there, backed out of spot and tried to stop the truck, had to push really hard on the brakes to get it to stop!!! Half way home the noise stopped and my brakes came back!!! The noise keeps happening and brakes keep coming and going, any idea of what i should do? Do i need to replace the Abs assembly or is there something else i can do to fix the problem? Need help with this badly!!!!!!
Thanks Michelle

Michelle,
No, the only issue mine has is a persistent leak at the front. The brakes/ABS/TRAC all work correctly.
The entire assembly, as shown in my pic above, is around $1,900 if purchased through an online Toyota dealer. Full price is well over $2,000.
I suspect the pump on your setup is failing.

I finally found a post on my issue!!! I have the high pitched alarm continuously sounding and my brakes are much harder to push. The mechanic is also trying to figure it out. But, since I don't have 1800.00 for parts and 600.00 for labor, I have to keep driving. So, i'm used to the harder brakes (sad, but I am) and today, after 2wks of driving, I located the abs, vsc, trac box under the dash in the far left and I unplug the last furthest connector, (black). Now, I don't know how much it affects...but the alarm stopped. And I've been driving all day...just with harder brakes. From everything I've read, I need to get it fixed, but i'm just dealing with the inconvenience of the harder brake pedal. Can anyone tell me if I should plan on running into a wall from disconnecting that set from the abs, vsc box in an 01 runner?

Is it possible to disconnect the abs system on an 01 4runner without affecting the brake assist?

Even with all of the electronic wizardry related to our ABS/TRAC/VSC systems, I'm pretty certain that the brakes will always function as simple, in-boosted hydraulic brakes. They have to, if you think about it (from a safety standpoint).
