wiring TJM turn signals **updated with pics**

When hooking up the turn signals in the TJM, do you just splice the TJM wires into the factory wires above the harness clip? Both TJM wires are black with red dashes and the factory wires are geen/yellow stripe and white/black stripe. Does it matter which TJM wire goes to which factory wire? For as nicely as everything else fit together, seems like TJM kind of cut a corner on this one.

OK, here are a few preliminary pics... more details and pics coming tomorrow or over the weekend (once I have a chance to make sure it is aligned properly, get some wires cleaned up, figure out what I'm going to do with my grille, etc.).

The pics are thumbs... click for bigger pics.

Your truck is looking goooood! I need bigger tires!! Youv got bigger lights and tires, no fair!
that last side pic reminded me of the idea I had one day. I think it would be pretty cool to take the little side "wings" and cut a hole and mount a light behind there and make a bracket with the extra metal thats cut out. Nothing too big, like a hella 570 or whatever the square verson of the 500 is... could even put some black metal mesh stuff to cover it. I'm not too keen on cutting up my brand new TJM, but... it would be pretty trick. My god father has a plazma cutter on a computer so I could get it cut perfectly and hes building a steel boat in one of this sheds, so you could say hes pretty good with the ol' welder I'll be sure to let you know if i decide to go through with it. They would be extreme fog lights of sorts. There was a suberban that had the same idea attached to the outside that went to my high school, and that gave me the idea. Anyway... have to help my buddy get his engine back into his volvo

Jackson, that looks good with those huge lights! Damn!
The turn signal wires are interchangable and will work no matter how you hook them up. Squeeze the splice locks with pliers and you should be good to go.

Both wires are the same. Hook either one to either factory wire and your set. 1 factory is + the other is - .

Thanks for the help... got 'em all wired up and everything seems to be working fine. Although it did remind me how much I hate vampire taps.
