wiring harness
i have posted before about a starting problem with my 89 22re it will start but it won't run we have checked everything and found the injectors are not getting a pulse. we swaped out the computer and still nothing we changed all the relays nothing. we now thing it may be the wiring harness going from the ecu to the injectors so my question to ya'll is what year model harnesses can i use and does this sound like a problem with the harness or we looking in the wrong place. the fuel is getting to the intake just not getting from the intake to the cylinders. i have good fire the guy helping my does nothing but work on toys and said he has never seen one do this and he is stumped. please help i need the truck for deer season in a few weeks.

harness
i have the same problem, currently locating a new harness. I get fuel all the way to the fuelrail, but the injectors won't fire. Got spark, got air, but no pulse. It has to be the harness, i even replaced the ecu, but looks like i may have some bad wiring. I'll keep you posted once i figure this one out

this is a common problem..follow your harness on the passanger side along the inner wheel well and where it goes through the intake plenum. take all the junk off the harness and see if the injector splices are broke. check this out.... http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showfl...ev=#Post849929
