wire question
Hey, I have a 91 SR5 V6. If you follow the positive battery cable all the way down to just in front of the right side of the radiator the wire has another smaller wire coming off it. it goes into a black connector. on the other side of the connector two wires come out. Mine are cut off or broke. one wire is black the other is white with a red stripe. I noticed if they touch metal I can hear a motor or somthing trying to run. This happens even when the truck is off. What are they supposed to be connected to? I cant tell wher they would go. I took the connector apart and the truck runs the same.

Does it all look like stock wiring?
Auto or Stick? just wondering because of the motor noise you describe - can't imagine what that would be unless there is an auxillary fan or pump or something on the auto that I don't know about.
It's dark and raining right now, if things are dry in the morning I'll check mine to see if I have the same wiring, and if so what it connects to.

I figured it all out, Th wire goes to sensor for the a/c fan, It has a fusable link coming off the battery cable. I bought a new sensor for 30 bucks and put it in. I still havent seen the fan come on though.
