Wiper Problems

I have had nothing but wiper problems since I got my '014. Seems that when they are on for a bit the start to squeek where the change direction form bottom to side. In addition to squeeking they also seem to lay down bits of rubber at these same flopping points. I have tried many different blades, Anco, Toypota etc.. as well as I have cleaned my windshiled very very well. the last time I used a glass stripper just to be sure there was no gunk on it. Anyone else experience this? Any ideas on how to fix it?

my 01 has wiper problems as well. on a trip to nyc this past weekend, i was driving in the rain at about 80mph. when i arrived, it stopped raining for a while, so i shut them off. there was little rubber bits at both stopping points, as well as what almost looked like a grease stain at the drivers side blade's peak stopping point.

its really obnoxious. im thinking about teflon blades as an answer...

Were they making a squishy/squeeky sound? Sounds like you have the exact same symptoms I have.

no, not so much. i know its common, but it does make this creak noise which sounds almost like a rusty spring or something like that. not sure what to do about that, but it goes away if i just wait for it to get wet enough.

PIAA silicone blades are the answer, they are expensive but they will last over a year. I run them on my 01 Taco and love em!!!

I have these on all of my own cars and have been selling them for over a year.

They DO WORK better than anything I've seen, and have a cool rainx like coating in the blades.

Been running the PIAAs since last fall (thanks, Jason). No problems so far, and as far as I remember, my stock wipers never squeaked. I only replaced them because they were stock, and I didn't want to wait until mid winter to instal new ones.
