Winsheild popped out
i got a new winsheild put in a week ago, (1 day before a baja trip) and on my way to cabo san lucas via 140 miles offroad, the winsheild decides to become unsealed along the whole top and halfway down the sides. so now im in the middle of baja with a winshield half hanging on, but found some duct tape and made do until i got to cabo.
So now in cabo, how do i remove and reseal the winsheild to the car? (98 4Runner) There is a home depot down here, maybe they have some sikaflex or something sticky.

Try and locate some Sika flex urethane sealant. Any windshield shop should be able to sell you some. It's Urethane and is black. DO NOT use silicone. You will regret it. Unfortunately you will need a heavy duty caulking gun to squirt that stuff and those are pricey too. A regular caulking gun will collapse trying to squirt that urethane out. Anyway long story short you can buy all that crap and risk re-installing the windshield or you can take it to a windshield repair shop and have them remove and re-install it. There is no short cut to fixing yours. If you try to reseal it while it's on the car it will either A. look bad or B. leak.

Did you close the doors with the windows closed when it was first sealed? I have heard to either leave a window open slightly or gently push the door close. ot doing this could cause the glass to pop out from air pressure when closing.

All done - found "cristales mexicana" - the only winsheild repair place in all of cabo san lucas. he pulled the glass, scraped all the old sealant and cleaned it all up, pumped new sikaflex around the frame and put the glass back on. all for $10 - darn worth it.
Crazy tho that the winsheild is just heald in place by a bead of caulk.
