Will this work on 3rd gen 4runner? (lighting)

Just wondering if this would work Lighting tip and if it would has anyone tried it. In theory it should but tracking down the wires from the steering column might be a

It would work but I wouldnt do it. Harneses could burn up, and not to mention the increased bulb wear.

If you need the light, get Hellas

hey, I wouldnt do this. I used to have both high and low together in my PIAAs, and after having them on for 20 something minutes, it actually burned(not fire, but blackened) my reflector and the inside of the glass. and these were regular H4 light bulbs, the same used in the 3rd gen runners.... take my advise and dont do it. like Mossback said, just get some hella 500s. they will give you all the light you could ever ask for.

I wouldn't do it either.
I think this is intended for vehicles with two different lamps (like GM trucks).

I know JC Whittney sells something like that. Maybe it's PP. It's an expensive little box you wire your lights through. Silly.

I know that I can position my high beam stick in just the right spot to get the same effect.

Sounds like a fire waiting to happen. If there was a relay involved, I'd think about it.
