Running stock 265/70/16 and found a super deal on 285/75/16 wasnt sure if they would clear well or not. Or would my best option be buy em store em till the OMElift goes on?

i am ripping out the stock suspension tomorrow, and putting in the ome lift next weekend hopefully. i am going from 265/70's to the 285/75 trXus. i am under the understanding that these should fit with a little banging of the bead welds, and maybe some trimming of the plastic. depending on how bad they rub off road (as that is the only time they seem to be a problem), i may just ignore it and let it happen.

Not sure what you have, but 33's (285) didn't fit on my 4Runner even with the 3.5" suspension lift that I had. I also needed to add a 2" body lift to clear them. Good luck though. Buy the tires and bank them till you're ready.

if it was my 95 pickup I would let the rubbing go. But maybe I should wait till the OME goes in in. What is a fair price for the GoodYear Mud terrains. they might have 1000 miles on them. They came off a 2002 Mercedes ML i know what your thinking a ML? Yeah its cool.
