Will old stuff work on new truck?

I have a 94 Pickup that I have put a bit of money into upgrading. However, due to family changes, we need more room that my ex-cab can provide. I am wondering if the following items could be carried over to a newer 95+ Tacoma without major changes.

Original truck:
94; 3.0L V6; Stick; ExCab; 4x4; SR5

Items I would like to take:
Rear diff - I got a sweet Torsen recently
Tow hitch
Front brush guard
Canopy

We are considering a 4-Runner given that it has more room inside, but I just like the 'dirt' hauling ability of the pickup and REALLY trying to avoid the purchuse of the newer generation 'monster trucks'. I still like to drive mountain trails, etc...

The Tacoma doesnt have much more room than the p/u ex-cab. I think you would be better off with an '01-'04 dual cab.

Rear diff should, as a 1st gen Taco/3rd gen 4runner rear diff will fit in the older 8" axles.

Tow hitch- probably not. Frames changed, but don't take my word on that.

brush guard will with a little modification

Canopy- most likely, but not a 100% fit. more like 98%-99%

the rear diff will not fit... 8" thirds are interchangeable from 79-95 but after 95.5 they dont swap over..

Tow hitch maybe with a little modification. I have a Taco rear bumper on my 93. Some drilling and a set of thick washers on one side did the trick.

shame to see that torsen setup unable to be adapted...
could almost make it worth swapping the axles...
