will the 3.0 2wd t-100 1993 bolt to a g-54

my buddy rolled his t-100 today and he has an 86 4wd were going to solid axle swap and the 22r is toasted. we were thinking of keeping the motor and rear axle ecu and what not. i'm pretty sure the w-56 will bolt up because they used that setup in some 4runner and trucks with v-6's but i wasn;t sure about the g-54

No, it will not. If the 86 is 4wd, it's a G52 anyway but no matter. The only 4-cylinder truck tranny that will bolt up behind a V6 is the R151F turbo tranny used with the R150F V6 bellhousing. The bolt pattern between the tranny and bellhousing is unique for the R-series, not the same as the G and W series trannies. BTW, if you've ever seen a W series mated to a V6, I'd love to know where, they don't exist. Only R150F's came behind V6's.
