Wide Open Throttle Power Loss???

hey guys. I have been throwing a check engine code for a few months now. I took it down to the dealer and they could not tell me what was wrong with it besides that it's running too lean. If I stomp on the accelerator, it bogs down pretty bad. I replaced my fuel filter about a month ago and it didnt help the problem. It will still accelerate fine if I ease on the throttle, but once you put it all the way to the floor it really loses its power. Could it be the throttle position sensor?

Clean your MAF sensor. That's the same symptom I got when mine got hosed from the K&N oil. Then pull the fuse and reset your ECU.

yeah I have a K&N on it. I have taken out the MAF sensor and cleaned it once already but didnt reset the ECU. What fuse do I need to pull and how do you reset it?

What did you use to clean it with?

If you didn't use brake cleaner, then do that and then pull the negative battery terminal to clear the ECU completely.
I'll bet that will fix your issue completely.

I had the same problem a while ago--not pulling cleanly and bogging down in the upper RPM's and throwing a check light (too lean) I would reset it just to come back---Hmm
So I know I had cleaned the MAF sensor a while ago and I hust went back looking at all my connections only to find I had left OFF A HOSE that connected to the air tube--hooked it back up and ALL problems went away SO having that open hole it was sucking in way more air than it could handle
