who can make these sliders?

I am trying to find a local (CA) shop that can make these sliders for 4th gen 4runner (2003):

Any help is appreciated.

Is 600 miles too not-local? You may want to talk to Richard Stubb's of Stubb's Welding:

http://www.stubbswelding.com/
stubbswelding@yahoo.com

He has his own slider design, but he's also a custom fab shop and should be able to help you out.

He's a great guy to do business with.

He's pretty far out. I think I'll have to leave my rig in the shop for measurements ... Unless someone else closer to him wants same sliders fabbed?

I really like the sliders on my original post they are BOMB proof. Just look at those mounts!! They are rated 4+.

Try Demello Off-road. He is located in Santa ana Ca, and custom made the sliders for my 3rd gen. I e-mailed him a bunch of measurements, and he made them to spec. Good guy, great product. I highly recommend him. Shoot him an e-mail... tell him I sent you (my pics are on his site), and see if he'd be willing to work with you.

Man, what ever you do, don't weld on your frame. There is no need to. Here is how my sliders are attached with no welding and they are super strong.

Thanks! I like these sliders they are very close to the body, at least they look close on the pics.

Do you have bolt on or welded version?

You mentioned that you just sent him the measurements and he was able to make them without even seeing your rig!!?? That's pretty good man. Did you go there for fitting?

I have the Demello sliders on. I'll take some pix and post it online for ya.

He has all the specs for it so it'll be easy for ya to purchase. The one I got was the double round.

one thing, mine are welded... but he can make bolt on version for ya.

email him at jason@demello-offroad.com. His name is jason demello btw...

I have the weld-on sliders, and they are very close to the body. The pinch weld is cut away to make room, and the sliders are still pressed against the body. That is my only complaint - but that is the fault of my welder, not the bars or Jason's work. There are some pics on my website of the sliders, before and after installation.

Nope, he's in CA, I live in NY. I e-mailed him a couple of times to let him know what I wanted, and to get a feel for what he could do (mine were the first set of 4Runner bars he ever made). I told me what measurements he needed, I took the measurements along with a few pictures and e-mailed them to him. About 3 weeks later the bars showed up at my front door - perfect fit. I've never met him, been to his shop, or even talked to him on the phone.

Lance, what a coincidence!

How do you like your sliders so far? You probably haven't tested them on the trail but in terms of fit and finish?

I looked under the rig and on the driver side rail there's really no place to bolt on a bracket (back side is too close to the fuel tank), so I guess it's WEND ON ONLY type for us.

Please take some pics.

Thank you.
