Where do I find electrical relays?

I've got a bad one in my headlight wiring, but I'm not sure where to buy a replacement. A couple auto shops in town I went to didn't have them, nor any idea on where to get such an item. I tried finding it online, but no luck.

They originally came with an H4 wiring harness kit I bought on ebay.

Here's what I need:

That is just a standard 4 prong relay.
They don't have those at an auto store near you?
Crap, Walmart may even carry those.....watch the amperage though.

Should be pretty cheap:

Fry's will have them for sure.
There are a bunch of electronic stores in Santa Clarita aren't there? One of them should have them, even a radio shack. Get the Bosch ones, they last longer. Also seal up the underside with a dab of silicone makes them more water tight and less headaches down the road. Sounds like yours got water in it and the workings are corroded.

one guy at kragen said something about having to match the curcuit pattern on the side of the relay?

Radio Shack has them too, very very common relay, any electronics parts store will have them.

It's a normally open relay so yes you have to match the pattern up , but I'm pretty sure most of the 30 amp car relays are of this type. My buddies used to raid the pick aparts and get the GM relays. They are the same but are very heavy duty and water resistant. Plus you can probably get a handful for $5.

Walmart doesn't have them for some reason.

Any local Radio Shack will.

I bought my pilot 30amp relay at pepboys. Charles if it doesnt match the pattern you can always make 4 spade type connectors and have it connected in the correct order.

peace.
