When to change the timing belt?
#2
Ya now would be a good time. Go ahead and replace all of the other belts in there while you are at it. Also, people say that now is a really good time to go ahead and replace the water pump as you will have most of the front part of the engine torn down already.

To replace the timing belt and water pump, I got quoted at or just over $400. I'd like to do it myself, but I don't have a repair manual. Anyone know where I can get on for a good price? There looks like there is one for the chassis and one manual for the engine. I just need the engine one.

Timing belt cost......
Hey runner4,,,,
It depends on the 'STEALER' in your area.... I have two dealers nearby... One was charging 149.99 and the other was charging 179.99... THIS IS THE TIMING BELT ONLY...
Some STEALERships have specials that they run occasionally.
Do what everyone suggests and change the water pump....
A must for the motor.....
