What would it take?

I was just wondering.... what would it take to squeeze some 305 or 315/75(or70)/16s under a third gen? has anybody seen this done or done it themselves?

I would love to be able to, but 285's rub on a limited without fender trimming. Once fender trimming is done, they clear fine, but 305's or 315's would be awesome, but some major fender trimming would need to be done, and may still not happen.

i would say the best bet for doing this would be to have the SAWs cranked at about 2.5" with either downeys or OME's in the rear, then adding a 3" body lift would probably be in order after that. i think that might make it possible to add 315s with that setup. you might still rub with that, so you could trim or get some fiberblass fenders up front. personally, i wouldnt do it, its too top heavy, and with such a big body lift, it would look goofy IMHO.
