to the stock suspension? Sorry, couldn't fit it all in the title. I have some damage to my front bumper already, and thought it would be an excuse to get a cheaper offroad bumper since I don't offroad that much. Would it sag alot or any?

for a 3rd gen (96-02 4Runner) ?

Depends on the weight involved of course. ARB front bumper had no real effect on my stock 99 suspension with the small (not tall) coils. Kind of kept the dampening effect in check with less bounce on the rebound.

Not sure what a Savage bumper weighs. Thanks for the link-their stuff seems reasonably priced.

yeah, I was searching for a weight, even shipping weight. I would have thought ARB would make it sag, they look heavy haha. Unfortunately, ARB is too expensive for me, so Savage was a cheaper alternative. There lift kit looks pretty good too, might look into that.

Really depends on how much they weigh over stock.

Same with the lift. The more up front weight the higher spring rate you need to support the weight and maintain ride/lift height.

I have a savage tube bumper, the 2nd style, not the newest one, and Im pretty sure it weighed 80lbs? Does that sound right? I put a lift on mine at the same time as the bumper so I cant say if it will sag or not. I like mine alot, but the way it mounts is questionable, be careful if you pull off of it I have bent my mounts a tiny bit trying to pull someone out.(on the runner, not the bumper itself) If you plan to get a winch, definatly strengthen the mounts up a ton before trying to use it.

Actually, I live in Texas now, just a little south of Waco. And how much did you get your ARB for Ron?

I just installed the SW front bumper and it made no change at all to my front ride height. This was with a set of fogs, shackles and a set of driving lights. Probably at least 90# over the OEM front bumper.

I haven't driven it much at all yet, so perhaps it might sag a bit. I was actually surprised that it didn't drop down at least a little bit when I initially installed the bumper.

YMMV

Arrow Savage Off-Road Front Bumper Weight

Our front hybrid bumper weighs about 75 lbs with all the options. It's not going to affect your suspension much, if any. I doubt you'd notice any sag. However, adding a winch is going to sag the front a little bit. A winch usually weighs about 80 lbs by itself. That's one of the reasons we selected ICON suspensions as our lift kit of choice. The front is kit is adjustable from 0-3" making it possible to fine tune your ride height based on different front bumper configurations.
