What type of motor is it?
Sorry for the stupid question, even i am suprised with myself. I have a 1996
4Runner with the 2.7 4Cylinder. The motor was the new style when it came out. I was just wondering what the "technical" name for this motor is. Thanks

I believe, officially, it's called "Bulletproof, part deux" 
most around here just refer to it as the 2.7, or the 4banger.
