what should I scavange off my old truck?
I'm getting a new rig! the 2003 V6 TRD will be in my driveway by Friday night!! I'm trading in my 2001 2.7L for it. There is nothing wrong with the truck I'm trading in, it has treated me well. My question is what should I scavange off of it before I hand it over? I have this honest karma bug in me that won't let me be too much of a thief, but everyone keeps telling me to "take that off and sell it" rather than handing it over the dealer. Some items mentioned are:
-towing hitch
-mud flaps
-floor mats
-spare tire
The dealer didn't even inspect my truck before offering me the trade, so it's not like he has a list of things to expect. Like I said, I've this "good guy" karma feeling saying not to strip it too much, but what do other people think?

Anything...
...that is not OEM equipment I'd take off and sell because their trade in value is...
1) less than what it is worth as an OEM vehicle
2) they are going to sell it for more than what they are giving you to make their money back plus profit
3) the trade in value they used I am sure was based on some experience factors like condition, mileage, and OEM equipment, not additional aftermarket modifications
Don't GIVE them anything becaue the stealership sure won't give you anything even if they say they do, you are paying for it somehow, believe me!
