What rear end should I install?

The differential may be toast on my rig and I was wondering what kind I should install? I'm new to this mod so any elementary advise is welcome, but I would like some sort of locker if that is the best thing. Let the ideas fly guys!

4 or 6 cyl? Just go with your stock diff with 4.56s and an aussie if a 4 cyl but I'm guessing its a 6 so a lockright.

I have 4.88 stock and have been very happy with that. Would adding a locker or something change that?

oh yeah... all the 4x4 limiteds are the 3vze engine... I need to add that to my sig line, huh?

You probably already know this , you can't use aftermarket gears in that diff.
