What offset? +20 or -19? does that seem right?
I am looking at the american racing baja wheels. It lists the 2 available offsets as -19 and +20 - does this seem right? I am looking to get these wheels along with 32x11.50 for my 1999 toyota tacoma 4x4. also, what is the correct bolt patter? 6x5.5 or 6x4.5? - i know this should be a search type question, i tried without much success
thanks in advance

negative offset pushes the wheels out from the side of the truck and positive offset pulls them in under more. negative offset puts more stress on the weel bearings and can cause the wheel to "swing" when steering so you may get more rubbing.

thanks, those sites helped. i realize now that the offset is really meaningless without the wheel width and math, etc. the american racing site actually DOES list backspacing, i just didnt realize that the numbers were backspacing, as that number was changing along with the rim width. i do not like wheels/tires that are too far out from the vehicle, so i will probably go with a higher backspacing, thanks.

15x8 20 (offset) 5 1/4 (backspacing) 6x5 1/2 (bolt pattern)
looks like +20 would run too large anyways, no?
15x8 -19 3 3/4 6x5 1/2 - that looks like its the only one between those 2 that work?

"check out these websites on offset and backspacing: http://www.usacomp.com/Offset.htm http://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html "
"mike d" those were very good wheel information sites. They cleared up a few questions for me as well.
